In Stress Free in 30 Days, Charles Linden does a wonderful job of explaining the difference between stress, anxiety, and depression, which people often lump together. He explains the differences in their causes, and manifestations. The main focus of the book is recovering from stress and/or anxiety. The author shows the chemical reactions caused by stress, and how they damage the body in the short and long term, as well as how if left untreated they can lead to an anxiety disorder. The 30 day program is easy to follow. All the solutions offered are helpful. It's not complicated, but it requires following through with it. Whether you're dealing with the stress of raising kids, or a high pressure sales job, this book could point you in a more productive direction. Within the first few days you should be feeling better, and find yourself more equipped to handle pressure and demands. The CD that comes with the book contains a short summation of how stress can mess you up, as well as several empowering visualizations to help you with relaxation and self-confidence. I was not financially compensated for this post. I received the book from Hay House for review purposes. The opinions are completely my own based on my experience.
